About Chiel
Chiel Zuidgeest is a mixed media artist based in Utrecht, Netherlands.
With a history of animation and filmaking and finishing the study Crossmedia at GLU cum laude in 2022. Where he got experience with Graphic design, Photoshop, Vector Animation and video editing. In 2024 he joined the HKU to study Image and Media Technology, where he combines his passion for analogue works with his digital experience to create unique stories.
Particular care is taken in translating intention into tangible, meaningful experiences across different scales and media; from film and animation to spatial installations, paintings and prints.
Chiel collaborates with institutions, public organizations, and private partners on projects with clear cultural positioning. These collaborations aim to shape narratives, deepen engagement, and create meaningful connections with audiences.
