Phony Phone | Experimental Film | 2025
Phony Phone is an experimental movie made with a documentscanner. Through experimenting not with only different kind of layers but also a wide variety of objects with different structures like: tinfoil, paper, plants, old pictures and more. These scans have been printed out, physicallymodified and yet again scanned by the document scanner. This results in a visuallychaotic but organised movie with repeating patterns. However within the chaos and in the middle of the canvas you can see aphone. The phone is displaying different visual elements in a different tempo then the background. With these two tempo's and a phone as focal point,the makers want to make the viewers aware of how we as humans can focus on object/problem while the world is constantly changing rapidly around us.
